Answers to common questions about buying, teaching, and payments.

For Students

How do I track my order?
Go to My Orders in your dashboard. Each order shows a live progress tracker (Pending → Processing → Shipped → Delivered → Confirmed) along with any tracking info or Google Drive links the faculty has shared.
When should I click "Confirm Receipt"?
Only after you've actually received and verified your course materials (physical items or working digital access). This releases payment to the faculty, so don't confirm until you're satisfied.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, if there's a genuine problem with delivery or content — see our Refund Policy for details on eligibility and how to request one.
How do I leave a review?
Once an order is confirmed, a "Review" button appears on that order in My Orders, and a review form also appears on the course page itself under the Reviews tab.

For Faculty

How do I get a faculty account?
Faculty accounts are created directly by our admin team to maintain platform quality. Visit our Teach on CourseNest page to request one.
How do I get paid?
Add your UPI ID or bank details on your Profile page. Once a student confirms receipt of their order, your payout is queued and the admin team transfers it — track the status on your Earnings page.
Can I edit my course after it's approved?
Course edits after approval are handled by our admin team to ensure listing accuracy. Contact support with the changes you need and we'll update it for you.
How long does course approval take?
Most courses are reviewed within 24-48 hours of submission. You'll get a notification once it's approved, rejected, or if changes are needed.

Payments & Security

Is my payment information safe?
Yes. All payments are processed through Paytm's secure gateway — CourseNest never stores your card or bank credentials directly. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Why is my payment held before delivery?
This is our escrow protection — it ensures faculty only get paid after you confirm you actually received your materials, protecting both sides of the transaction.
